Offshore Global Logistics Ltd (“Offshore”, “Navicus 360”, “we”, “us”) provides logistics, fleet-care, inspection, billing, and transport-management solutions via the Navicus 360 mobile (Android/iOS) and web applications. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, protect, and share data required to operate our services and meet Google Play disclosure requirements.

2. Compliance Statement Google Play

The Navicus 360 app complies with Google Play Developer Program Policies, including the User Data, Families, and Data Safety sections. We disclose the exact data we collect, the purpose for each collection, how long data is retained, and how users can request deletion. We only request runtime permissions that are necessary for core functionality (for example, dispatch navigation, POD uploads, or receiving FCM notices), and each permission can be revoked in your device settings without impacting unrelated functionality.

4. Categories of Data What we collect

  • Account & profile information: name, company, email, phone, user role, and credentials required for authentication.
  • Operational data: shipment details, freight quotes, customer orders, inspection records, damages, invoices, proof-of-delivery forms, and feedback provided through the app.
  • Location data: GPS coordinates and telemetry used for FleetCare and driver workflows. Background location is collected only for signed-in transport staff who explicitly enable the permission to support trip monitoring.
  • Device and network data: IP address, device model, OS version, app version, Firebase Cloud Messaging token, and connectivity indicators to secure sessions and optimize performance.
  • Files & media: camera captures, gallery files, PDFs, or scanned documents uploaded as attachments (PODs, inspection assets, expense receipts).
  • Support interactions: information you provide to our support teams, including email correspondence and in-app issue reports.

5. App Permissions & On-Device Access Runtime

  • Location (foreground & background): Enables driver dispatch, map previews, fuel station proximity, and FleetCare telemetry. Background access is used only while a driver session is active and may be disabled at any time via device settings.
  • Camera: Captures POD photos, inspection images, and receipts within driver or inspection workflows.
  • Photos/Media/Files & Storage: Allows uploading of existing files, exporting reports, and caching documents offline via the cache service.
  • Notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers order updates, inspection reminders, and account alerts. Users can manage notification channels in system settings.
  • Device information: The app reads basic device identifiers and OS metadata to troubleshoot crashes, enforce security, and comply with fraud monitoring requirements.

Permissions are requested in-context. Denying a permission may limit the associated feature but will not prevent access to unrelated modules.

6. How We Use Data Purpose

  • Provisioning secure access to dashboards, transport modules, quotations, billing, inspections, and analytics.
  • Routing tasks to authorized staff or partners, including order acceptance, co-loading, fuel authorization, and POD verification.
  • Sending push notifications, alerts, and email summaries that users opt into during onboarding or via in-app settings.
  • Providing offline caching for driver orders, expenses, and POD files to enhance reliability in low-connectivity environments.
  • Monitoring system health, detecting fraud or misuse, and satisfying audit and compliance reporting obligations.
  • Responding to user support requests and improving the product roadmap through anonymized analytics.

7. Sharing & Third-Party Processors Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal data. Information is shared only with trusted processors who enable core Navicus 360 functionality, such as hosting (cloud infrastructure providers), analytics (application performance monitoring), email delivery (transactional email services), and Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications. Each processor is bound by confidentiality and data processing agreements consistent with GDPR and Google Play policies. We may disclose data when required by law or to enforce our terms, investigate fraud, or protect the safety of users.

8. Data Retention & Deletion Storage

  • Operational data (orders, inspections, invoices) is retained for the duration of your contractual relationship and for legitimate business or legal reasons.
  • Driver telemetry and cached data follow strict expiry windows managed by the application (for example, POD caches expire after 24 hours).
  • Users may request deletion or export of their personal data by emailing privacy@offshorelogistics.co.ke. Requests will be verified and fulfilled within applicable regulatory timelines.
  • If you uninstall the app, local cached data is cleared automatically, and account data remains on our servers until your organization requests deletion or your contract terminates.

9. Security & Storage Protection

We implement encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access controls, session management (including auto-timeouts and CSRF protection), and continuous monitoring to prevent unauthorized access. SharedPreferences, secure storage, and cache directories are used according to platform best practices, and sensitive data is limited to what is necessary. Despite these safeguards, no system is completely secure; please report suspected vulnerabilities to our security team.

10. Your Rights Control

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, and to receive a portable copy of the information you provided. You may also withdraw consent to optional features (for example, background location) through in-app settings or your device controls without affecting core account access. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.

11. Childrens Privacy Age

Navicus 360 is built for professional logistics users and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

12. Updates & Contact Stay informed

We may update this policy to reflect product enhancements, regulatory changes, or new Google Play requirements. Material updates will be communicated within the app and via our websites. Continued use of the services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
